About the Author
Children have always played an important role in Christy's life. She grew up in a big family with five sisters and two brothers. As an adult, she chose to work as a teacher and then a school counselor. Christy is a mother of two. When her son and daughter were toddlers, she wanted to write a book about her unconditional love for them. Her dream became reality many years later when she published I LOVE YOU! A Children’s Book About Unconditional Love.
About the Illustrator
Shannon is the illustrator and author’s sister. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, and her life dramatically changed. Shannon believes God healed her body and heart. Due to her healing and change in priorities, Shannon gave up her career as a pharmacist to complete the work most meaningful to her which includes working with people suffering due to addiction, helping at her church, painting, designing art, and more.
